iPhone was neither at the horizon nor in anybody's best dream: it come out more than 4 (four) years later.
Internet, e-Commerce, WiFi, Mobile, Apps, Artificial Intelligence and more were just scratching the surface of the second biggest revolution after the "steam engine".

It was june 2002, few months after 9/11, when I was interviewed on how USA were recovering from the drammatic events they had just faced. I said that USA had understood a costly and dramatic lesson, but they understood how technology innovation would have helped them out. I said that new learning and working environments were important too, to let everybody contribute in a more effective way, creating a virtuous circle for innovation .
